Once again, Todd and his crew came through for us with some work/remodeling on our home. The work was top-notch, as expected, and they were very prompt and professional throughout the entire process.

Highly recommended, you can't go wrong using Alltech Unlimited.

Todd has done several projects for us over recent years. This week, he finished a project in our kitchen that spanned several days. I'm very pleased.

When we started the project, Todd met with us to clearly understand our needs. He was very collaborative, talking through the options for our project. He worked with us on the budget, and didn't  push the highest cost alternatives.

Todd communicated well, responding in a timely manner to calls and emails. The work was completed per the committed timeline. And Todd came by after completion to inspect the work and confirm we are happy with the results.

Isaiah from Alltech Unlimited installed a chandelier at my home. He was on time, professional, and did an awesome job!

Our experience with AllTech was unfortunately sub-par, to say the least. We chose them particularly because of their overall favorable Yelp reviews, but our experience proved otherwise. Here are the facts:

    1. We hired them for a one-day project, to include these tasks:

    a. install one ceiling fan
    b. install one curtain rod
    c. assemble a natural gas grill

Here are the issues we had with each one:

    2. Ceiling fan:

    * installation took almost 3 hours and it was pre-wired for a fan/fixture (we have previously had fans installed in half that time)
    * I had to help the installer troubleshoot when things weren't going well
    * I heard him drop the fan blades at least 4-5 times
    * A circuit in a completely different room of the house kept blowing during installation
    * He left the circuit breaker box open when the job was done
    * The day after install, my son tried to turn on his fan and that same other circuit (living room) blew
    * They came out to fix the wiring the next day after which it worked fine

    3. Curtain rod:

    * Did a nice job but, again, I heard him drop the rod 2-3 times with a loud "clang."
    * Seemed to have scuffed our new living room chairs with the ladder
    * Left the boxes and packaging scattered about on the floor; no effort for cleanup

    4. Grill:

    * After one hour of assembly work, he admitted he could not figure it out; still charged me for the hour of work, however; just left it unassembled in pieces in my backyard.
    * Owner came by the next day to inspect it himself, informed me "we don't do natural gas grills" (I wish he would have told me that before he charged me). He recommended someone who specialized in natural gas to finish the job
    * The specialist came out and spent 45 minutes undoing the mistakes of the first guy. So, I paid an extra 1 hour 45 minutes (one hour to Alltech guy and 45 to specialist) of work just to get it back to the starting point so it could be assembled. Took the specialist another 2+ hours to finish the assembly. More money out the door.

After complaining to AllTech, the owner was quasi-sympathetic, saying he had fired the tech in question. (But, how does that benefit me? That's his employment problem, not mine). No offer to refund any of my money. He offered a $50 credit for next time. (Seriously - you think I would call you back? Would you call me back if the roles were reversed?)

I had Todd do some handyman tasks around my home which started out good but over time ended up poorly. I had a fence fixed and a water heater put in and other small jobs. The last job I noticed that he had not cashed the check so I texted him and he in turn said he had not been paid so I expedited payment through an online quick and safe payment arrangement that he just went ballistic over and then the threatening texts and behavior started. He thought that these quick pay systems were phony and he wanted a check in the mail and also threatening to go to collections. Even after getting payment the rude and condescending messages continued. Well several months went by and the fence he fixed fell over without any wind or storms and it was found he used very little if any cement and the water heater I paid a premium for was the cheapest water heater on the market. You should not use Todd for your projects unless you like trying to deal with a bully.
